发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF BORON DIAPHRAGM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the diaphragm of a film or a sheet which mostly consists of boron by depositing boron particulates on the surface of the conductor block of a prescribed shape to which an anode potential is given, impregnating it with a thermosetting resin, and pressurizing and heating it. CONSTITUTION:The boron particulates with radii below several microns to one micron are dispersed in nonaqueous solvent in which viscosity is high, the polarity of the charge of the particulates is stable and the dispersion of the particulates is comparatively satisfactory. The boron particulates are deposited on an anode consisting of the conductor which is processed in the prescribed shape, and then they are dried below approximately 100 deg.C. Subsequently, the deposited film is impregnated with a thermosetting resin, and the film is sandwiched with the surface of the conductor whose surface has turned into the anode having releasability, and a metallic mold which is in a male and female relation with the conductor. The film is pressurized, heated and polymerized with resin, whereby the film is peeled. Thus, the boron diaphragm with superior characteristics such as sound velocity, acoustic loss and the like can be obtained.
