<p>PURPOSE:To minimize the waiting time for introduction and delivery motion so as to aim at enhancing the capacity of introduction and delivery and at shortening the man-hours of the work by providing a mechanism for independently controlling shelves of several stages and a mechanism for minimizing the turning distance. CONSTITUTION:A control function section 8 delivers a cargo data signal 9 to a control function section 7 when a cargo detector 5 detects a cargo. The control function section 7 transmits an introduction instructing data signal 10 for minimizing a turning distance to the control function section 8 in accordance with inventory data stored in memory, the present position of a rotary shelf type rack and the cargo data. The control function section 8 delivers a tracking diversion signal in accordance with the introduction instructing data signal so as to control the conveyance of those including an automatic introduction and delivery shifter in the corresponding machine. Meanwhile when the introduction instructing data signal is received, the associated rack is previously rotated until it comes to the position of the automatic introduction and delivery shifter, and therefore, the turn waiting time of the cargo is minimized. After completion of the shifting, the control function section 8 receives an introduction completion data signal 11. At this time, the inventory data and the present position of the rotary shelf type rack are updated.</p> |
