PURPOSE:To improve the safety and the convenience of operation, by combining the shift operation to the running position of a shift lever and the operation of a switch furnished at the shift lever, and driving to release a parking brake for a specific time after the both operations are exercised. CONSTITUTION:This system furnishes the first switching device 21 linking to the operation of a shift lever to the car running position, the second switching device 1 attached to the shift lever, and release/drive control devices 3 and 22 to release the parking brake for a specific time after both the first and the second switching devices 21 and 1 are ON. And when the shift switch 1 is operated in the condition the shift lever is shifted to the car running position such as the D range, or it is operated in the reverse order, the release/drive control devices 3 and 22 get a force to release the parking brake for a specific time. Therefore, the safety and the convenience of operation can be improved.
