PURPOSE:To permit a period of time during which a diver can stay under water to be read, by inputting data stored in a memory circuit and an output from an A/D converting circuit to calculate air consumption and determining a remaining amount of air by an arithmetic circuit as well as displaying the remaining amount of air or the period of time on a display unit. CONSTITUTION:An analog output from a pressure sensor 1 for measuring a depth of water is converted into an digital signal by an A/D converting circuit 2 to be applied to an arithmetic circuit 3. Air consumption per unit time of a diver, a capacity of an air tank used, a air pressure of air filled in the tank are inputted to memory circuits 5-7 though an input unit 4. Data from the memory circuits 5-7 are inputted to an arithmetic circuit 3. The arithmetic circuit 3 calculates a remaining amount of air in the tank based on data in the memory circuit 5-7 and displays it on a display unit 8. When a depth of water changes, calculation is effected based on the data of the depth of water for display. That is, a period of time during which the remaining amount of air is consumed at the depth of water is displayed.
