PURPOSE:To make separation and delivery of paper sheets locally large in thickness of a magnetic striped document or the like performable, by installing a notch, large than a gate member, in a position being opposed to the gate member of a paper sheets separation mechanism in a paper sheets delivery device. CONSTITUTION:When a pickup roller 5 at the lower part of a paper sheets hopper is driven into rotation, a document 4 at the lowermost part is conveyable in the direction of a gate member 7. A clearance between a tip of the gate member 7 and a conveying surface 2 should be set to a size where one document sheet is passable, and furthermore a notch 2a is installed in a right-beneath part of the gate member 7. In addition, a collision contact surface 7a with the document 4 of the gate member 7 is formed into a slope form, and on the conveying surface 2, there is provided with a protuberant part 2b. The document 4 run past a gate gap part and separated piece by piece is discharged by rotating and driving conveyor rollers 8 and 9. And, when a photosensor 10 has detected a tip of the document 4, rotation of the pickup roller 5 is stopped, and only one sheet of the document can be delivered. |
