An equipment socket is composed of a position shell 17, formed by two half shells, and a front sleeve 16, which partially holds the former. The position shell 17 and the front sleeve 16 are surrounded by a plastic sheath 28. The crimped necks of the contacts 26 are mounted in bearing points in the half shells.
