Improvements to the manufacture of refrigerator cabinets provided with a single door, in which improvements the starting point is a plastic container 2 to the top of which the evaporator is fixed by means of separating blocks, this evaporator furthermore being centred inside the container, with the aid of lateral projections 12 formed in this container, which includes, on its rear wall, an orifice 6 for the passage of the heat-exchanger tube and a housing 8 with an orifice for the passage of the pipe 9 for draining the defrosting water; next, the core for injecting the foaming agent, provided with an annular incision intended to receive the evaporator, is installed inside the container; the frame 1 is then fitted and the final injection of the foaming agent is carried out in order to obtain a one-piece assembly. <IMAGE>
