PURPOSE:To closely shield the circumference of a car retractable headlamp by dividing the cover of the headlamp into a part parallelly moving in a body with the lamp and a part rocking in a body with a lid. CONSTITUTION:A headlamp 11 is held at an illuminating position A and at a housing position while facing forward in its illuminating direction via a driving link 22 and a parallel link mechanism 21, and elevated. And, it can achieve the effect of passing light through an illuminating hole 23 even when it is housed. With its elevation, the lid 24 is rocked and opened obliquely frontward when the lamp 11 is in the illuminating position A, the headlamp 11 is projected upward from a bonnet 15, and the circumference of the lamp is closely shielded by a cover 27 in a body with the lamp 11 and a cover 29 in a body with the lid 24. Further, upon housing the lamp it can be housed without any interference between the covers 27, 29, and the lamp 11 the lid 24. |
