PURPOSE:To realize a stable continuous operation by providing a raw material evaporating vessel evaporating a raw material by an electron beam, and a raw material melting vessel melting raw material by the electron beam reflected by the melting surface in the raw material evaporating vessel. CONSTITUTION:The electron beam 7 projected from an electron gun is deflected by a deflecting magnetic field, and is radiated to the melting surface 21 of the raw material 3 received in the raw material evaporating vessel 4a. By this irradiation, the raw material is evaporated to form a vapor stream 9, which is used for the separating operation of specified isotope. On the other hand, a part of electron beam 7 is reflected by the melting surface to form a reflex electron beam 22 which is curved again by the deflecting magnetic field and forms an orbit of the reflex electron beam 22. As the raw material melting vessel 4b is provided in the orbit, the raw material 3 supplied to the raw material melting vessel 4b is heated and melted by the reflex electron beam 22.
