The surface of crystalling limestone is polished smooth and a pattern-drawn synthetic resin film is adhered on it by adhesives and heated to 90-120≦̸C for adhering the film firmly. Then the film but pattern parts is removed by knife and the limestone is dipped into hydrochloric acid bath for dissolving exposed limestone part by acid treatment and then the limestone is dipped into neutralizing bath and the film adhered to the surface of limestone is removed for making the embossed pattern.
