PURPOSE:To from an image of a high quality for generating no exposure quantity drop nor uneven exposure due to adhesion of a scattering toner, by providing a transparent conductive film extending over a prescribed range so as to close a slit part. CONSTITUTION:Between dust-proof glass 4 of an image exposing device and a photosensitive body 5, a slit member 14 being an image exposing optical path is provided and a front is narrow, therefore, comparing with the case when there is no slit member 14 the quantity of a scattering toner which reaches the vicinity of the optical path positioned in the slit decreases. Also, a transparent conductive film 15 being an electrode for closing a slit part of this slit member 14, and also, forming an electric field within a prescribed range of the surface of the photosensitive body 5 is provided, therefore, an electric field can be formed in the sit 14, the slit opening part, and the vicinity of the surface of the opposed photosensitive body, as well. Accordingly, scattering of the toner from the part being in the course of exposure, in which the toner is scattered most intensely is suppressed, and also, even against the toner scattered once, force for pushing it back to the photosensitive body 5 works by an action of the electric field, and arrival to the slit opening part and invasion into the slit 14 can be prevented. |
