PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a composite container excellent in unity between the container main body and paper at low cost by a method wherein a resin sheet softened by heating is pushed inn a female mold, in which a piece of paper is charged, so as to be formed in a predetermined shape. CONSTITUTION:A sheet feeding line L2, in which a foamed sheet S is softened by a heating oven 5, meets a paper line L1 at an intersecting part N. A female mold 3 is positioned at a paper feeding position X1. A piece of paper P3 consisting of the semi-punched part P1 of a single paperboard P is charged in the forming part 31 of the female mold 3 by driving a vacuum suction member 40. Next, the female mold 3 is shifted to the intersecting part N. After that, the female mold 3 is advanced by driving an air cylinder 10 and at the same time a male mold 7 is pushed out by driving a driving mechanism 12 so as to push the predetermined part of the foamed sheet S in a forming part 31 in order to form a dish-like shape. The resultant integrally molded item of the piece of paper 3 and the foamed sheet S is punched so as to obtain a composite container A. The obtained composite container A has a favorable feeling of integrality. |
