An elongate hollow body 1, preferably with a frustoconical profile, having an open upstream end, a closed downstream end and a side wall pierced with holes 8, the sum of whose cross-sections is at least equal to the cross-section of the open upstream end, is held by a collar 9 in the oxygen pipeline, in order to slow the carried particles by the changes in direction when passing through the openings 8, so as to avoid their ignition by frictional heating in certain components of the pipeline. <IMAGE>
