METHOD FOR REPAIRING EXISTING PIPING

PURPOSE:To solve the problem that an excess resin deposits and hardens in supply pipes by previously inserting a belt-like mat removably into the pipes and drawing out the belt-like mat when lining of the supply pipe ends at the time of repairing said pipes. CONSTITUTION:The belt-like mat is previously removably inserted into the conduit 1 of the route where the supply pipes 2 are branched at the time of repairing the supply pipes 2 branched from the conduit 1 installed underground. A required amt. of the resin is introduced and run into the respective pipes 2 in this state from the terminal apertures of the respective pipes by which the lining to form the resin film is applied on the inside surface of the pipes. The belt-like mat 50 is drawn out of the conduit 1 upon ending of application of the lining and the excess resin admitted into the conduit from the respective branches of the supply pipes is clung to the mat 50 and is discharged to the outside of the conduit. As a result, the problem that the excess resin deposits and hardens in the conduit is solved and the hindrance of the travel of a pig to be used in the subsequent repair of the conduit side or the like is obviated.
