PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically sort and separate a runner and a slug part from each other by a structure wherein a pinching means, which has a pair of arms to freely openably pinch a nozzle touch part or nearly right above the nozzle touch part from sides, is provided on a movable mold side and, in addition, a means to change over between a product discharge passage and a runner discharge passage is provided. CONSTITUTION:A submarine gate 5 is provided between a runner 4 and a product. A pinching means 6, which has a pair of arms 14 to freely openably pinch the nozzle touch part of a mold or nearly right above the nozzle touch part, is provided on a movable mold 3 side. In addition, a product discharge passage 7 and a runner discharge passage 8 are provided beneath a mold 2 and, further, a changing-over means 9 to guide a molded body to either one of both passages 7 and 8 at ejection is provided between both the passages 7 and 8. When a slug part 13, which is formed at the nozzle touch part, is pinched by the arms 14 before the discharge of a product 18, only the product 18 is guided to the product discharge passage 7 in the state that a runner 4 is held as it is. Next, when the arms 14 are released by changing over the changing- over means 9, only the runner 4 is guided to the runner discharge passage 8, resulting in sorting out the runner 4 from the product 18 and discharging them automatically. |
