PURPOSE:To clarify the wooden-grain pattern of the product and to significantly enhance its wooden feeling by embossing a wooden-grain pattern on the surface of a synthetic resin extrusion-molded product, and infiltrating paint into the embossed pattern to deepen the color tone on the coated part. CONSTITUTION:A molded product A having a specified cross section is obtained by an extruder 1 from a synthetic resin molding material mixed with wood flour and others. A wooden-grain pattern is then embossed on the surface of the product A by an embossing machine 6, and a specified amt. of paint is spray-coated on the surface of the product A by a spray-coating machine 7. The coated surface is rubbed with a block 8 having appropriate elasticity to infiltrate paint into the striations caused by embossing. The coated surface is brushed by a brush 9 to uniformize the coated film. Namely, paint is infiltrated into the embossed wooden-grain pattern, hence the color tone on the coated part is deepened, the wooden-grain pattern is clarified, and the wooden feeling is significantly enhanced.
