PURPOSE:To make it possible to observe only essential trace information necessary for debugging and to improve the handing of a device by writing trace information satisfying a registration condition in a stacker, selecting the trace information satisfying a retrieval condition from the stacker by a retrieving tool and outputting the selected trace information to a terminal. CONSTITUTION:A trace information extracting tool 2 checks whether trace information satisfies the registration condition or not, and when the information satisfies the condition, stores the information in the stacker 4. Since the size of the stacker is restricted, the trace information to be newly written is written in a space next to an already written part when a space is left in the stacker and written on the oldest trace information when there is no space in the stacker 4. The retrieving tool 3 checks whether the trace information stored in the stacker 4 satisfies the retrieving information or not, and when the information satisfies the condition, transfers the trace information to the terminal 5.
