PURPOSE:To permit easy and relatively inexpensive formation of a titled photosensitive body and to provide the photosensitive body having excellent durability by incorporating a specific naphthalene compd. as an effective component into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contg. at least one of the naphthalene compds. expressed by the formula as the effective component is provided on a conductive base. In the formula, R<1> denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group or halogen atom, R<2> and R<3> denote an alkyl group, substd. or unsubstd. aralkyl group or substd. or unsubstd. aryl group, R<4> denotes a hydrogen atom or substd. or unsubstd. phenyl group. The photosensitive characteristics and the strength to thermal and mechanical impact are thereby improved and the photosensitive body is inexpensively formed. |
