PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which gives a film having a smooth surface and good slipperiness, consisting of a specified polyether imide polymer and an org. solvent-soluble arom. polysulfone polymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyether imide polymer (A) having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1-10g/dl (in N,N-dimethylacetamide, 0.5g/dl, 30 deg.C) and repeating units of the formula (wherein n is a positive integer) is blended with 0.01-10pts.wt. arom. polysulfone polymer (B) composed of repeating units having at least one sulfone group, represented by formula II or III (wherein n is 5-1,000), etc. and optionally, an antioxidant, a thermal stabilizer, an ultraviolet absorber, a colorant, etc. (C) to obtain a polyether imide resin compsn. A soln. obtd. by dissolving the compsn. in an org. solvent is cast on a rotary drum, a steel belt, etc., to form a film, which is then dried. |
