The present invention relates to a device for handling a plastic film covering the hoops of a cloche or of a greenhouse, for the purpose of ventilating the latter. This device is characterised in that it comprises movable hoops 5 extending above the film 3, whose height is greater than that of the fixed hoops 2 supporting the film 3, and each of which is articulated, at its lower ends, about a horizontal and transverse spindle, a strap 7 for raising the film 3 associated with each movable hoop 5, this strap 7 being fastened, at one of its ends, to the top 8 of the movable hoop 5, passing under the longitudinal border of the film located on this side, and rising back up towards the top of a fixed hoop 2c to which it is fastened, and a wire 11 for controlling the simultaneous pivoting of all the movable hoops 5. <IMAGE>
