<p>PURPOSE:To store the compressed air highly dried in low temp. by providing a changeover valve which is closed by the unload command and is opened by the release of the unload command between a purge storage tank and an air storage tank. CONSTITUTION:The changeover valve 8 is closed when an unload command is issued, and the air storage tank 6 is isolated from the purge storage tank 4, and the valve of regenerative device 5 is opened so that the compressed dry air in the purge storage tank 4 flows backward through an air drier 3, regenerates adsorbent 31, and flows out into the atmosphere. When the unload signal is extinguished by the fall of the pressure in the air storage tank 6, an air compressor 1 is started to discharge compressed air, and at the same time, the changeover valve 8 is opened to connect the air storage tank 6 with the purge storage tank 4 so that the purge storage tank 4 rises to the same level of the pressure in the air storage tank 6. As a result, the compressed air can not flow into the purge storage tank 4 until the pressure of the compressed air discharged from the air compressor 1 is raised enough.</p> |
