PURPOSE:To attain rapid access by providing a microprocessor with a means for detecting data writing to a data pointer area and a register means for accessing a memory. CONSTITUTION:The microprocessor includes the detecting means 25, 28 for detecting data writing and generating a load signal 29 and the register means 27 for storing the address of a data storage area 21b which is to be written in the data pointer area 21a and then accessing the memory 21 on the basis of the stored address. In case of writing the address of the data storage area 21b in the data pointer area 21a, the load signal 29 is generated from the detecting means 25, 28 and the address of the area 21b is stored in the register means 27. Since the memory 21 is accessed on the basis of the address stored in the means 27, the data storage area 21b can be accessed without accessing the data pointer area of the memory 21.
