PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a device, by storing the energy of a main circuit wiring inductance in a snubber capacitor, and by regenerating the energy with LC resonance together with the inductance of a current transformer. CONSTITUTION:DC power from a DC power source 2 is applied to an inductive load 5 via a main circuit wiring inductance 3 and a GTO thyristor 4, and by changing the ratio of the ON/OFF-time of the GTO thyristor 4, power applied to the load 5 is regulated. When the GTO thyristor 4 is turned OFF, then the energy of said inductance 3 is stored in a snubber capacitor 12 via a snubber diode 11. The stored energy LC-resonates together with this capacitor and the inductance of a current transformer 20, and is shifted to a second capacitor 24. This charged energy is regenerated to the DC power source 2 via a wiring inductance 25.
