PURPOSE:To simply set up an interrupting point in a program by checking whether both effective flags of the interrupting point control bit of an instruction code and the interrupting point of a control register are ON or not when the instruction is fetched and generating an interruption as long as the condition that both flags are ON is maintained. CONSTITUTION:When the instruction is fetched, whether the interrupting point control bit of the fetched hard instruction code is ON or not is checked. When said bit is ON, whether an effective flag on the interrupting point of the control register is ON or not is checked. When the effective flag of the interrupting point is ON, an interrupting event is generated. At the time of generating the interrupting event, the execution of a traveling program is interrupted. When both effective flags of the interrupting point control bit and the interrupting point are not ON, normal operation based upon the instruction code is executed.
