PURPOSE:To shorten the temperature rise time of a stock, and also, to make it unnecessary to cool a press machine by placing a die in a space formed in a state that contiguous upper and lower dies are closed, and also, burying a heater in an insulated state in each part of the corresponding to its space. CONSTITUTION:To a die 15, a stock 23 and a stainless steel plate 24 are set, and set onto the lower die 14. Subsequently, the upper die 13 is allowed to descend by operating a press machine, and the die 15 is pressed between the upper die 13 and the lower die 14. As a result, the peripheral edge of the stock 23 is inserted and held airtightly and fixed between the lower die 21 and the upper die 22. Subsequently, heaters 17, 18 and 19 are conducted electrically and forming of the stock 23 is executed, while heating the die 15. That is to say, when air is exhausted from an exhaust port 21a of the lower die 21, and also, forming gas is supplied from a supply port 22a of the upper die 22, the stock 23 is bulged and formed after the model of a formed surface 21b of the lower die 21.
