PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement and repair of a safety valve by disposing the safety valve in the valve shaft of a gas container valve. CONSTITUTION:A seat aperture 1d at the front end of a valve shaft hole 1c communicating between the introduction passage 1a and the delivery passage 1b of a valve housing 1 attached to an LP gas container, is opened and closed by means of a valve part 2a at the front end of a valve shaft 2. A valve chamber 2c communicated with the valve part 2a from the rear end is formed in the valve shaft 2, and is disposed therein with a safety valve having a valve element 3 urged toward a valve seat 2d by a coil spring 4. Thereby, the safety valve may be easily removed to be repaired and replaced with new one if the function of the safety valve becomes inferior. Further, the processing of the valve is facilitated in comparison with a conventional arrangement in which a safely valve is added to the valve housing, and therefore it is possible to make the valve compact and to facilitate the attachment thereof.
