<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cavitation buffering effect, by providing a gas exhaust nozzle to at least one of either a valve disc or a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:High pressured gas like nitrogen goes through a hole, which is made in a valve disc 12 in the axial direction, or a gas passage 15 and is gushed out from gas exhaust parts 14 toward downstream. The number of exhaust parts 14 should be two or more, and the exhaust parts 14 are formed in such a manner that the gas is scattered equally or without being biased in the downstream portion of the pipe with respect to the valve. With this constitution, the gas gushed out flows in a whirl in a fluid flow passage, a fact which can alleviate the intensity of a shock that is produced when the cavitation-caused shock wave directly hits the internal surface of the pipe. Accordingly, noise, vibration, or wear can be reduced.</p> |
