PURPOSE:To prevent a viewer from forgetting to view picture by comparing a viewed channel and a permitted channel with each other and displaying information indicating that viewing is permitted if they do not coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a video signal, a viewing permitting instruction, and viewing permission time data are sent from a center equipment 101 to a terminal equipment 102, a selected channel is demodulated and is transmitted to a comparator 105. The viewing permitting instruction and viewing permission time data are demodulated, and a viewing permitted channel number is transmitted to the comparator 105. The comparator 105 performs comparison all the time or at an arbitrary time and transmits the result to a control part 116. The control part 116 recognizes the viewing permission time based on the viewing permission time transmitted through a data line 124 and transmits the viewing permitted channel number to a control part 122 and forcibly demodulates the viewing permitted channel through a control line 123 and transmits it to a superposing part 107 to display the event number and the channel number.
