PURPOSE:To improve the stability of frictional electrification in the titled toner by binding a high polymer side chain which is formed by a radical polymerization, to a high polymer main chain which is formed by graft-polymerizing a monomer having >=2 the polymerization reactive double bonds on the surface of the toner particle. CONSTITUTION:The high polymer chain which is formed by graft-polymerizing the monomer contg. >=2 the polymerization reactive double bonds in the presence of a catalyst, is binded on the surface of the toner particle contg. a coloring component and a binder. And, the high polymer side chain is grafted to the high polymer main chain by effecting a radical polymerization, by allowing the high polymer chain to contact with the monomer having a charge controlling group and the polymerization reactive double bond. Thus, the peeling of the substance which has the charge controlling action is reduced, even in case of running for long period, and the change of the frictional electrification of the titled toner is low, even in case of using for long period, thereby obtaining always good visible image. And, as the toner has good fluidity, the clear visible image is obtd. |
