PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of noise by successively shifting trailing edges of at least the last pulses in the blanking period of transfer pulses. CONSTITUTION:Since trailing edges of the last pulses in the horizontal blanking period of transfer pulses phiS1, phiS2, and phiS3 are successively shifted little by little, they are driven so that they are not simultaneously clamped for reset. Noise is not generated in a signal component since the trailing edge of a clamping pulse of each channel is certainly placed in a period in which a reset pulse is in the low level.
