PURPOSE:To execute mutual repetitive reproducing by forming spaces between adjacent blocks on the same track, arranging the space of one track correspondingly to the starting point of the other track and recording information corresponding to each traveling direction at the time of reproducing in the space. CONSTITUTION:Information E1-E6, J1-J6 are recorded in tracks A, B of a tape. Respective information and a program searching reference point Q of the information J6 are blocks divided at the end point of one character to be properly divided. Opposite side tracks corresponding to the informations E1-E6, J1-J6 and the starting point of a mark Q are always space parts Sb0-Sb6, Sa1-Sa6 and are arranged immediately after respective blocks to record information corresponding to each other in the tape traveling direction at the time of reproducing. If one track is switched to the other when the head of the succeeding block is searched after ending the reproducing of a 1st block of a 1st information on one track, the switched position is a space without fail and a 2nd information is reproduced on the position, and when the track is switched at the time of the head searching of the succeeding block, the space part of the original track is restored.
