PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of blow-by and choking of an incinerator and to improve incineration efficiency, by a method wherein the horizontal section and the vertical section of an incinerator body form specified structure. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal section of an incinerator body forms a structure that one of diameters is longer than the other extending at right angles therewith, and a structure that the four corners of an inner wall surface are formed in a curved shape or a shape at an angle of 90 deg. or more with no square corner part. Further a vertical section forms a structure that opposing inner wall surfaces are positioned in parallel to each other or a distance between the inner wall surfaces is gradually increased from an upper part toward a lower part. This constitution enables even the horizontal section of each layer of the incinerator body especially four corners to be uniformly filled with a substance to be incinerated, and prevent the occurrence of blow-up phenomenon of the incinerator. Further, this constitution prevents adhesion of a low temperature molten substance, contained in the substance to be incinerated, to an incinerator wall, which causes choking of an incinerator.
