PURPOSE:To obtain a black/white hard copy output device that can clearly identify the difference of colors by varying the types of markers, lines and hatchings to show the difference of colors of patterns or characters displayed on a color CRT screen. CONSTITUTION:When a hard copy request is delivered by a switch 2 through a black/white hard copy output device 1, the hard copy request signal 9a) is supplied to a data converting part 9 via a hard copy request accepting part 5. Then the part 9 extracts the picture data out of a CRT output buffer memory 6 of a color CRT 3 and converts the data on the straight lines, surfaces, characters, etc., discriminated by colors into the copy data discriminated by the types of markers, lines and hatchings to transfer them to a hard copy output buffer memory 7. The output of the memory 7 is supplied to a black/white hard copy device 4 via a hard copy interface 8. A table memory part 10 stores the types of markers, lines, etc., and confirms the using conditions of them. |
