A support leg (1) for a vehicle roof rack is secured to a vehicle by means of an adapter (4) which is fitted to the integral drip moulding or rail (3) provided on the vehicle and overlapped by door (2). The lower end of the support leg (1) is fork- shaped and embraces the adapter (4) to which it is connected. The support leg (1) consists of two parts (1a, 1b) joined together by a bolt assembly (17, 18) having a clamping action. <IMAGE> |
