PURPOSE:To secure safe operation by making it possible not only to mount a ring gear on the arbitrary part of a rotor but also to measure twist vibration, by assembling two sets of half-split type gears by a reamer bolt to form the ring gear which is, in turn, mounted on the rotor by shrinkage fit. CONSTITUTION:The half-split parts 7a, 7b of ring gears 6a, 6b having gears 5 cut in the outer peripheries thereof are combined so as to be shifted by 90 deg. and the ring gears 6a, 6b are tightened by a bolt 8 to obtain a ring gear 6 having such a structure that an entire periphery is one ring. Next, the ring gear 6 fixed to each other is heated to increase the gap dimension between the ring gear 6 and a rotary shaft 9 and a shim 11 is inserted in the increased gap and the ring gear 6 is allowed to cool to mount the shim 11 to the rotary shaft 9 by shrinkage fit. By this half-split type combination structure, the ring gear is mounted to even the small diameter place of a rotor in a disassembled state and can be subsequently connected integrally.
