PURPOSE:To improve the stability of the frictional electrification in the titled toner by binding a high polymer chain on the surface of a toner particle, and said high polymer chain is formed by graft-polymerizing a monomer having >=2 polymerization reactive double bonds and a monomer having a charge controlling group and the polymerization reactive double bond. CONSTITUTION:The titled toner is produced by binding a high polymer chain onto the surface the toner particle contg. a coloring component and a binder, and the high polymer chain is formed by graft-polymerizing the monomer having >=2 the polymerization reactive double bonds, and the monomer having the charge controlling group and the polymerization reactive double bond in the presence of a catalyst such as a compd. contg. a four valent cerium, etc. Thus, the change of the frictional electrification of the titled toner is reduced, even in case of using for long period, thereby obtaining always a good visible image. And, as the titled toner has the good fluidity, the clear visible image is obtd. |
