PURPOSE:To efficiently perform a color conversion processing by converting plural specified colors, included in an inputted picture signal, or the color, resembling those, into the predetermined color. CONSTITUTION:Three colored color separation signals, read out by a picture inputting device 1, are inputted to the first-the fourth prior color judgement circuits 2-5. The circuits 2-5 perform a comparison with the predetermined specified color respectively, and only outputs J1-J4, which are judged to be approximately the same color, are made to be 1. The outputs J1-J4 are inputted to selectors 6-9 as selection control signals, and according as the selection control signal is '1' or '0', the colors 1S1-4S1, for color-converting the specified color, or the colors 1S2-4S2, for masking the color other than the specified color, are selected. The selector 10 selects the output according to the output of a control part 24, and either the color conversion of a higher priority order, or the color conversion of the higher priority order in the area of the higher priority order and one of the eight values of color masks 1S1-4S2, are selected and outputted. |
