PURPOSE:To eliminate the separation of skin material from a base material at the time of deep draw forming by forming said skin material in such a way that its 30% modulus is 9kg/5cm width or less and its shape retention of 60% or above. CONSTITUTION:The needled face of an approx. 1-3mm thick needle punched felt which is formed by needling one side of a web made of polyester fiber is impregnated with a synthetic resin emulsion of a styrene-acrylic copolymer which is adjusted to a consistency of approx. 5-65%. The thickness of this impregnated layer is determined to be approx. 10-70% the thickness of the needle punched felt. The impregnation of the synthetic resin emulsion is performed in such a way that the value of the ratio of the weight of the needle punched felt to that of the solid part of the emulsion is approx. 70/30-95/5. And, a web of thermally fusible fiber is laminated on the impregnated face and heated, to form a skin material. Since the modulus of this skin material is 9kg/5cm or less, the separation of the skin material from a base material felt can be eliminated even at the time of deep draw forming. |
