PURPOSE:To improve service by calling charging data, which a viewer requests, from a memory device and displaying it on a television as character information. CONSTITUTION:When the viewer requests charging data, a control part 9 reads out all of data in a memory device 14 and reads out and sends characters from a character picture generating part 16 to a television modulator 17 so that charging data is displayed. The television modulator 17 modulates and converts a character picture video signal and sends it to a turner 6, and it is displayed as a character picture on a television receiver 7.
