PURPOSE:To provide an evaporation type burner which is free from the occurrence of troubles on the use of a high temperature and reduces the number of manufacturing steps, by a method wherein a sheath heater, heating a burner structure, formed of an iron casting, and promoting evaporation of fed liquid fuel, is casted in the bottom of the burner structure to completely bury the sheath heater. CONSTITUTION:A sheath heater 3, heating a burner structure 1 formed of an iron casting and promoting evaporation of fed liquid fuel, is completely buried in the bottom part 2 of the burner structure 1 by casting. A mold, flowing to a casting space part, is formed of a material having excellent radiating properties. In the bottom part of the casting space of a mold, after the sheath heater is brought into a floating state, molten cast iron is poured in the casting space of the mold in a way to flow around an inlet for the molten cast iron to the bottom part as temperature is managed to 1,320-1,380 deg.C. This constitution and method provides an evaporation type burner which eliminates steps, e.g. assembly and securing of the sheath heater, causes no occurrence of troubles on the use of a high temperature, reduces the number of manufacturing steps, and decreases cost.
