PURPOSE:To use efficiently the forming material of a spring seat and improve the yield thereof by making the outline of a flange part approximately rectangular via the formation of notches. CONSTITUTION:Crescent notches 14 are formed at four positions of the external surface of a flange part 3 in line with 'X' and 'Y' lines orthogonal with each other and passing the center 'P' of a spring seat 12, in such a way as to be cut from a direction approximately at right angles with said orthogonal lines 'X' and 'Y'. As a result, the outline of the flange part 3 in expansion comes to have approximately a square form. Therefore, the formed body of the spring seat 13 in a forming process can be made approximately square, a forming material corresponding to the notches 14 can be efficiently used and the yield of the material can be improved. |
