<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cross-section closing ratio of a desulfurization tower and to enhance a desulfurization ratio, by arranging a support member vertically mounted to one of the support structures provided to the desulfurization tower to support the structures in the tower containing spray nozzle pipings. CONSTITUTION:Cooling liquid spray pipings 2, a gas diffusion plate 3 and absorbing liquid pipings 4 are supported by a cooling liquid spray piping support plate 12, a gas diffusion plate support 13 and an absorbing liquid spray piping support 14. Both ends of the supports are supported by the wall surfaces of a desulfurization tower 8 and further supported by the support members 10 vertically provided to the under surface of a truss 9 being the support structure of the support members in one direction thereof. Therefore, the support span of each support becomes short and the cross-section thereof becomes small and a desulfurization ratio is enhanced without obstructing the spray pattern.</p> |
