PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting the gap between an optical write array and a lens array by sliding a lens array adjusting plate in one direction to separate the lens array from the optical write array against a pressing spring. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 20 is taken and a revolving shaft 17 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (a), front and rear lens array adjusting plates 12 and 13 are slided in right and left end parts of an optical write array 10 in such directions that they are separated from each other. Therefore, a lens array 11 is moved in the direction of the arrow (a) by a pressing spring 21 while being pressed to inclined parts 12b and 13b of lens array adjusting plates 12 and 13 to narrow the gap between the lens array 11 and the optical write array 10. When the revolving shaft 17 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (b), front and rear lens array adjusting plates 12 and 13 are slided in such directions that they approach each other, and therefore, the lens array 11 is moved in the direction of the arrow (b) against the pressing spring 21 to extend the gap between the lens array 10 and the optical write array 10, and this gap is finely adjusted easily and simultaneously in the right and the left.
