<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the degree of scale settlement and swell on a discharging wire with the restriction of production of acid ammonia sulfate which is a low melting-point material by injecting alkali substance such as Mg(OH)2 powder into a flue after injection of NH3. CONSTITUTION:MG(OH)2 powder is supplied to a storage silo 11 and passes through transport piping 15 with air boosted by means of a pressure feed blower 14 through a rotary valve 12. After this, said powder is injected into an upstream flue 21 via a low nozzle 16. NH3 gas is injected further upstream in the flue 21 as shown by an arrow to generate a reaction product of NH3-SO3. Subsequently, at a place where Mg(OH)2 powder 19 is injected, the reaction product of NH3-SO3 and Mg(OH)2 powder 19 are mixed, and thereby production of NH4HSO4 is restricted to reduce the degree of scale settlement and production.</p> |
