<p>PURPOSE:To improve the engine output and stability by forming the collection part for the branched pipes into a nearly circular section and arranging the opened port parts of the branched pipes in the peripheral direction according to the intake order and reducing and uniformalizing the intake resistance. CONSTITUTION:In an air passage 6, the collecting part is formed into circular section, and a partitioning wall 16 for partitioning each opened port part 11A-14A of the branched pipes into a nearly fan-shaped section is formed. The partitioning wall 16 is formed into a radial form with respect to the center shaft in the collection part, and each branched pipe 11-14 crosses at right angles with the collection pipe and curved to convert the intake stream from the vertical direction to the horizontal direction. The ignition order of a four cylinder engine is #1-#3-#4-#2, and intake operation is carried out in the order of the branched pipes 11, 13, 14, and 12. The opened port parts of the branched pipes are arranged clockwise in the order of 11A, 13A, 14A, 12A according to the intake order.</p> |
