PURPOSE:To easily execute a debugging processing by providing a macro- instruction analyzing means and treating the macro-instruction as one instruction. CONSTITUTION:When a key input is present from a keyboard, a debugger command is edited and one record is read from a source file 6 according to the execution instruction of a program to be debugged and the setting instruction of a break point and whether this record is the macro-instruction or not is checked. When it is the macro-instruction, it is developed to an ordinary instruction, a delivered to an instruction executing means 12 and when it is not the macro-instruction, it is immediately delivered to the instruction executing means 12. In the instruction executing means 12, the macro-instruction is executed as one instruction.
