PURPOSE:To automate function inspection by bringing a prober for waveform detection into contact with a terminal for waveform observation that the circuit of a movement has an confirming that no waveform is outputted in the final process of the assembling process of the movement. CONSTITUTION:In the final process of an assembling line for the movement, the completed movement 3 is fixed to a pallet 11 and conveyed. The pallet 11 is stopped by a stopper 12 and fixed by a vertical 13, and at the same time, a waveform is passed through a prober 4 for power supply and a prober 5 for waveform detection and amplified by an amplifier; and the amplified waveform is compared by a comparator with a reference voltage to confirm that the circuit of the movement 3 is in operation, i.e. that the waveform is outputted. When not, it is judged that the circuit of the movement 3 is faulty. Thus, the function inspection can be automated.
