PURPOSE:To hold the secret of data stored in an IC card by reading the identification data of the IC card again when an operation such as the exchange of a battery or the like is completed to return the IC card, and preventing the data from being transmitted to the IC card when this identification data does not coincide with the identification data read before the operation. CONSTITUTION:After the operation such as the exchange of the battery or the like is completed, the IC card is set to this temporary storage device again. In response to the command of a transmission command means, the identification data of the set IC card is read initially by an identification data reading means. Then, when the identification data read by the identification data reading means coincides with the identification data stored in a data storing means, the data stored in the data storing means is transmitted to the set IC card. In such a manner, since the data is transmitted to the IC card with which the identification data coincides, the data of the IC card is not stolen. |
