<p>PURPOSE:To transfer a plurality of sheets at no interval with a simple construction by providing a pick-up rotor capable of supplying continuously the sheets and a supply rotor for transferring the sheets. CONSTITUTION:A first sheet S is transferred to a transfer section 19 with speed V2 and further when the rear end of first sheet S is released from a pick-up roller 39, a second next sheet S is immediately sent out of a cassette 37 with transfer speed V1 by said roller 39. While the front end of second sheet S overlaps the rear end of first sheet S under such condition, as soon as the rear end of first sheet S leaves the nip portion of a pair of supply rollers 41, the front end of second sheet S reaches the nip portion of a pair of said rollers 41 since l2/V1=l1+l2/V2. Thus, the second sheet S follows closely the rear end of first sheet S transferred by a pair of resist rollers 42 with transfer speed V2 and is transferred by said pair of rollers 41 with speed V2.</p> |
