<p>A pipeline joint comprises inner and outer joint members 1 and 2 which fit one within the other. The joint has a gripping collar 7 which is formed integrally of the outer joint member 2 and engages the inner joint member 1 to grip the latter and provide a metal-to-metal joint seal. The collar 7 is subject to the internal joint pressure within a surrounding space 11, which pressure urges the collar 7 into gripping and sealing engagement with the inner joint member 1.</p> |
